These are the rules for the shop. Please make sure you abide by them out of respect for the artists and other customers.
- No shoving, jostling or "pushing to the front of the line". You might want a piece of artwork done, perhaps even as soon as possible, but respect that the artists have lives and need privacy to complete their work. If someone has requested something before you, don't expect to be given your work first. Just because you're older than someone else or a higher rank doesn't give you the right to be tended to first.
- Infringement of Agreement in Trade. If you and the person who is making you an image decide to co-operate under a certain agreement, you can not turn around and cause an infringement of it. This means any violation of that agreement, law or regulation is against the rules.
- Copyright Claims. Copyright claims are given to the person who made the image, not those who put it together or are given it through trade or request. Don't claim a piece of work as yours if it isn't.
- Respect. Any artists here must be respected. Don't blurt out that the drawing sucks or anything negative. If you don't like it, either don't post or say it carefully and explain why - it's not to your taste? Don't like what it's based on? Does it suggest something against your beliefs?
- Criticism. Take note that if someone doesn't want criticism for their work, don't give them any. If they haven't stated if they do or do not want criticism, ask them before you give. If they do want it, be helpful and respectful. This means no "This sucks, the hand looks stupid and you should give up drawing". This means "It's ____, but the hand is a bit too long and thick. You should try..." Give advice.
- Age restrictions, language and content. Don't ask for things that are insulting or offensive to other people. The Peace sign is fine, but we don't want people suddenly flipping that over in an inappropriate gesture. Also abide by the law. Any content that suggests pornography, especially in the case of a child, is unacceptable.
- Follow all of the Forum's rules. As it says.
